A Flauta Mágica

This scenography for the The Magic Flute (Die Zauberflöte) by Mozart is playing creatively with the Egyptian setting of the plot. The four elements of a fragmented stair are assuming different settings for each scene, before resulting in a monumental pyramid for the final chorus, praising the rise of the sun. The scenography comprised all elements on stage, from the circular wheel of the Drei Knaben to the musical instruments of Tamino and Papageno, using the amazing historic machinery of this 18th century theatre.

 

 

 

A Cenografia para a opera A Flauta Mágica (Die Zauberflöte), de Mozart, oferece uma interpretação contemporânea das referências egípcias do libreto.  Os quatro elementos de uma escadaria fragmentada assumem uma configuração diferente em cada cena, antes de configurarem uma monumental pirâmide para o coro final, elogiando o renascimento do sol.

A cenografia inclui todos os elementos no palco, desde a carrinha circular dos Drei Knaben até aos instrumentos musicais de Tamino e Papageno, utilizando apenas a maquinaria histórica deste teatro original do século 18.
